Every November since 2015, the CICLA Original Illustration Exhibition brings together about 100 artworks from children and professional illustrators to be showcased at the Boahsan International Folk Art Museum. After the exhibition, the best artworks are acquired to be part of the CICLA illustration collection and an independent jury selects the winner of an 80,000 RMB annual prize given to the best professional artist presented in the exhibition, held this year under the theme of childhood dreams and reveries.
